Acts 20:4-21:40

Paul is heading home to Jerusalem. He makes a few stops along the way, resurrects a life....yadda yadda yadda. As Paul is visiting with his friends they all seem to be saying the same thing, "do not go to Jerusalem they shall be none to glad to see you". One friend even has a daughter who had the gift of prophecy. She tells him that he will be bound and delivered in to the hands of the Gentiles if he is to return.

Paul goes anyway as he is confident in God's will and protection. And just as expected he is dragged out of the city....bound, and beaten. Guards come and get him with plans to take him to barracks in order that they can figure out what the ruckus is all about.

Paul asked if he may address the people and was granted permission......
