John 1:1-14, Matt 2, Luke 2:39-52

I've two questions.
A. How did the 3 wise men, astologers this version calls them, become the 3 Kings? Nothing says anything about them being kings?
B. Did Jesus know who he was? (Don't ruin it for me if its something I will find out later)

I don't know. I don't know where the kings thing comes in. Maybe it's from a different translation. This is probably the 3rd or 4th different translation I've read, but I can't remember without looking it up. Maybe it's like how people say, My great-great grandma was an Indian princess, when, in fact, there were no Indian kings. It's just that the translation of chief in American Indian(which most tribes had several) to chief in English used to be translated as king. That's my best guess.

I believe He did. That's why he answered them the way that He did when Mary and Joseph told Him they didn't know where He was. He replied, Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me to be in My Father's house and [occupied] abut My Father's business?

via veritas vita...the way, the truth, the life. John 1:4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. Jesus Christ (IXOYE), the Son (Filii) of God (Patris). He was with God, now He is 'Immanu'el - God with us.

John 1:12-13 "But to as many as did receive and welcome" (believed in) "Him, He gave" (through undeserving grace, not earned) "the authority (power, privilege, right) to becme the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name - Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!] We (believers) are God's children, He is our Father.

Tomorrow is Matt. 3, Mark 1, and Luke 3

I got a little Canandian at the end of the second paragraph. :)
