1 Kings 5-7, 2 Chron. 2-4

Hiram comes to visit Solomon because he was a fan of David. Solomon explains that now that there is some sort f peace about the land he shall get around to building that temple that God said he would build (talk about pressure).

Solomon and Hiram are going to combine forces in order to get the cedar cut. Apparently Hiram in in contact with some seriously fab lumberjacks. He'll have the timber cut and float it down the river, where Soloman will have it picked up. Solomon will fill Hiram pantry to the rim with brim.
The rest is a bunch of details about the building of the temple as well as Solomon's house.

In one of the notes it states that the foundation is still there today, and that one of the stones was 39 ft. long. Much more impressive than any stone in the pyramids. But you hardly ever hear about this. I wonder why. Is it because so much of the world, especially the U.N. and their influence over education throughout the world is so anti-semitic? I think so. We're supposed to be the modern/developed people, yet engineers today have no idea how they would even go about trying to move stones so large.
